The annual trek to Croyde for a week's camping and body boarding with the family.
It was a week of contrasts - buckets of rain and sun, buckets of sand and cheer.
When not in the sea, I enjoyed reading the latest Dan Brown novel "Inferno" - it is many years since I read the Dante's Divine Comedy and enjoyed the chance to slow down and relax. It is not quite as good as the De Vinci Code, all the same it was full of twists and turns. Enjoyable.
Here is one of the few photos that I took and no Gromits. Still have the 3 to go - may make the effort this week.
