I was inspired the brilliant BBC TV programme on Vivian Maier - the greatest street photographer that few have heard of.
She was a nanny who devoted her non-working life to photography. She left thousands of images undeveloped. She was only discovered after her death when her catalogue of work was in store and went on auction.
People who then bought them at auction posted a few online. Before long, Vivian Maier went viral. Now her prints sell for thousands of dollars a piece.
It seems a pity she did not benefit in her lifetime, that said her work is inspiring,
Check out the programme on the BBC.
